Tsinglan Tech Supports Ministry of Civil Affairs in Launching New Industry Standard: mmWave Radar Ushers in Era of Intelligent Unobtrusive Monitoring

On March 13, 2025, China's Ministry of Civil Affairs (MCA) officially released the recommended industry standard *"Monitoring and Positioning Assistive Devices - mmWave Radar Monitoring Alarms" (MZ/T 238-2025)*, scheduled for implementation from May 1. As a lead drafting organization, Tsinglan Technology leveraged its core expertise in mmWave radar to establish new technical benchmarks for unobtrusive monitoring solutions.

The newly published standard specifies comprehensive technical requirements including hardware configurations, enclosure protection ratings, and environmental adaptability. Crucially, it mandates that monitoring alarms installed via ceiling-mounted or wall-mounted methods must perform at least one core function - personnel detection, fall detection, respiration monitoring, or heart rate tracking - within designated detection angles and ranges, with defined accuracy thresholds for each function. The standard further requires supporting platforms to enable remote configuration, alert push notifications, and over-the-air (OTA) upgrades.
This landmark regulation signifies China's transition toward standardized, professionalized intelligent monitoring systems. Tsinglan's pivotal role as a core drafting entity not only demonstrates technological leadership but embodies corporate social responsibility - harnessing innovation to safeguard lives and health.
